Communications Science & Advising
"The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place."
— GEORGE BERNARD SHAW, NOBEL PRIZE WINNING PLAYWRIGHT
Communication is both an art and a science.
Communication is a multifaceted discipline that encompasses both artistry and scientific principles: crafting messages that resonate with audiences on an emotional and intellectual level, fleshing out narratives and themes that can be distilled into a storyline, and measuring the impact on the sentiments and behavior of a particular audience or the public at large. It involves persuasion, storytelling, rhetoric, and data analysis. It applies theoretical frameworks to understand human behavior and cognitive processes.
My approach
Less propaganda, more facts and insights.
My approach to communication is one of journalistic prowess meets thought leadership. I look for facts, studies, and insights to include in any materials I develop with the belief that my audience is informed, intelligent, and curious about learning more and gaining insights they can use for further evolution.
